Matcha Espresso Iced Latte (Keto)

When you can't decide between coffee and tea, why not do both?

This matcha espresso iced latte is sugar-free, low carb and sooooo good!

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/3 cup water, boiling
2 shots espresso
1 Tbsp coconut cream, chilled
1 Tbsp monkfruit sweetener
2 tsp matcha powder, preferably ceremonial grade
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Handful of ice

Directions

In a medium non-metallic bowl, combine the matcha and monkfruit.

Add the boiling water and vanilla extract, then whisk until smooth.

Pour the whisked matcha into glass, then top it off with ice.

Gently pour the almond milk, then the shots of espresso, and finally the chilled coconut cream.

NOTE: The coconut cream works very well with the matcha and keeps the latte dairy-free, but you can also substitute with heavy (35%) cream.
